Praising her contribution to Nigeria’s energy sector and her life of enterprise, service, and accomplishment, President Bola Tinubu on July 7 joined the business community in sending out a congratulatory message to Hajiya Amina Maina as she marked her 50th birthday.
Maina is a member of the Presidential Economic Coordination Council and the Governing Council of the Midstream and Downstream Gas Infrastructure Fund, for which the president has commended her commitment, according to a statement by presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga.
Maina cut her teeth in the oil industry as an Executive Director of MRS Group. Prior to that, she was Vice President of Energy Solutions Integrated Services Limited. In October 2025, she was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Okomu Oil Palm Company.
President Tinubu described Maina as a worthy example of Nigerian women’s industry, excellence, and capacity to lead in business and public service.
In Onanuga’s statement, the President prayed that Almighty Allah would continue to bless Hajiya Maina with good health, wisdom, and many more years of service to the nation and humanity.
