Former Chelsea star, Joe Cole, has predicted England to beat Argentina when both sides battle in the World Cup semi-final on Wednesday.
Cole believes the Three Lions will put Argentina captain Lionel Messi to ‘bed’ and qualify for the World Cup final.
“We will have to put Lionel Messi to bed,” Cole said on The Rest is Football.
“We are going to put him to bed. I’m saying it now, England are going to the World Cup final.
“We have got too much pace for Argentina and were going to beat them, I feel it in my bones.”
The winner between England and Argentina will face the winner between France and Spain in the World Cup final.
