I Wasn’t Scammed Of $4m — Bella Shmurda

Popular Afrobeats musician Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi, widely known as Bella Shmurda, has denied viral reports claiming he lost $4 million in a Lagos property scam.

Social media reports had earlier claimed that the singer cried out for help during an Instagram Live session after allegedly being defrauded in a real estate deal.

Reacting to the claims on his Instagram story, Bella Shmurda dismissed the report as fake news and urged his followers to be cautious of unverified online rumours.

He assured his fans that he is in good health, doing well financially, and happy, contrary to the claims that he was seeking public assistance.

“Fake news!! I wasn’t scammed. Trust bloggers at your own risk. Doing fine and happy. Peace & Love,” the singer wrote.
