Nollywood movies, ‘Ajosepo (The Gathering)’ and ‘Iwé Àlà (An Ojúde Ọba Story)’ have continued their impressive box office performances, reinforcing the growing appeal of Nollywood productions among cinema audiences.

FilmOne Entertainment announced on its Instagram page that ‘Ajosepo (The Gathering)’ had grossed N156 million at the West African box office, reflecting sustained audience interest in the family drama.

The distributor expressed appreciation to moviegoers across the region for their continued support of the film.

“Thank you West Africa for showing up to witness this unmatched drama. Ajosepo (The Gathering) grosses a whopping N156 million at the box office. Thank you for showing up and let’s keep spreading the word,” the company said.

Meanwhile, ‘Iwé Àlà (An Ojúde Ọba Story)’ recorded N58 million at the Nigerian box office, continuing its strong run in cinemas nationwide.

FilmOne thanked audiences for embracing the culturally themed drama, noting that the film was still gathering momentum.

“Thank you Nigeria for showing up for Iwé Àlà (An Ojude Oba Story) and reminding us why we do this and tell stories like this. We’re just getting started.
