The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced a new date for the 2026 Batch B Stream I Orientation Course for prospective corps members (PCMs) deployed to Niger State, following the earlier suspension of the exercise.
A notice issued by the scheme which was shared on its verified Facebook page on Thursday, said the orientation course will now commence on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Kubwa, Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
According to the notice, registration of prospective corps members will take place from Tuesday, July 7, to Thursday, July 9, while the registration portal will close at midnight on Thursday, July 9.
The NYSC also disclosed that the swearing-in ceremony has been scheduled for Thursday, July 9, while the three-week orientation exercise will end on Monday, July 27.
The scheme urged all affected prospective corps members to report to camp within the stipulated registration period, warning that late registration would not be entertained after the deadline.
“This is to notify the general public and prospective corps members deployed to Niger State for the 2026 Batch B Stream I Orientation Course that was suspended earlier has now been slated to hold,” the notice stated.
The NYSC further advised all affected PCMs to visit their personal dashboards on the NYSC portal and reprint their call-up letters before proceeding to camp.
“PCMs are also advised to login to their dashboards to reprint their Call-up Letters,” the scheme added.
