Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, the senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, has penned an emotional tribute to her late father, Dr. Jimoh Abdul Akpoti, remembering him as her “first hero,” “greatest teacher,” and “safest place.”

“Dear Father,

Thank you for everything.

You were my first hero, my greatest teacher, and my safest place. Through your life, you taught me courage with kindness, faith with action, and love without limits.

Thank you for every sacrifice you made, every prayer you said for me, and every lesson you left behind. Though you are no longer here, your love continues to guide me, your values continue to shape me, and your memory continues to strengthen me.

You will forever be my greatest blessing.
