Actress Apinke Ogundimu has made a passionate appeal to Nigerians for help as she battles cancer.
In an interview with Biola Bayo, she revealed that she was diagnosed with cervical cancer, and the pain has been too severe. She questioned why she would have cancer when she is an easy-going person.
The movie star said she has reached out to people for help, and they have assisted her. According to her, her children have been spending all their income on her, neglecting their own needs.
She pleaded with Nigerians to come to her aid as the pain is severe.
“The pain is too severe. I did these tests, and I was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Why did it happen to me? I am very easy-going. I have reached out to people, and they have helped me. My children have been spending all their income on me, neglecting their own needs. For them to put their own lives on hold to take care of me. But I thank God for blessing me with them. So I said, “Let me do what I wouldn’t do because I know some people will bully me, while others will help me.
“I want to be fine.
I want to be healed.
The pain is severe.
I don’t pray for my enemies to have cancer.
Please, have mercy on me.
Please, I have nobody”.
