The Vice Presidential Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, has lost his mother, Mrs. Mary Amaechi.
A statement issued by the Amaechi Media Office on Thursday said Mrs. Amaechi died peacefully on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at the age of 89.
According to the statement, the late Mrs. Amaechi was a respected community and Christian leader who was known for her commitment to promoting peace, unity and family values.
The statement described her as a widely respected figure in her community whose life was marked by kindness and service to others.
It added that the Amaechi family had expressed appreciation for the condolences and support received following her death.
