Britney Spears’ son, Jayden James, has dismissed a strange online conspiracy theory claiming the pop superstar has been cloned, urging people to stop believing everything they see on social media.

Speaking during a recent livestream, the 19-year-old reacted to a viral TikTok video with more than 1.2 million likes, questioning whether his mother is still alive.
“I hop on TikTok, and I see this one video that has 1.2 million likes, and the caption is like, ‘The biggest theory ever: Is Britney Spears still alive?’ Like, bro, you can go to her page and see her right now,” Jayden said.
He added that the experience highlighted just how easily misinformation spreads online.
“It makes me know that a lot of the stuff in the media is exaggerated and fake. People know how gullible people are, and they use that to their advantage. Anyone who sees it in the media, they just see it and if it has a lot of likes, they believe it. They don’t even research it, they’re just, ‘Wow, yeah, it’s crazy. I believe it.’”
Jayden and his older brother, Sean Preston, 20, whom Spears shares with ex-husband Kevin Federline, have had a complicated relationship with their mother over the years. The brothers were reportedly estranged from the singer for a long period, but their relationship is said to have improved in recent months.
According to reports, the siblings also played an important role in encouraging Spears, 44, to seek treatment following her March DUI arrest. An insider claimed the singer was initially reluctant to check into rehab, but changed her mind after her sons intervened.
“They’re the only ones she listens to, and they were so loving, so kind, but also so firm,” the source said.
Earlier this month, Jayden and Sean also stepped into the fashion spotlight, making their runway debuts during Paris Men’s Fashion Week.
