Hollywood actor and activist Danny Glover, has opened up on his current health diagnosis, revealing that he has Alzheimer’s disease.
Glover, popularly known for starring as an easygoing police officer in the “Lethal Weapon” franchise, is a four-time Emmy Award nominee. He revealed his diagnosis while speaking with People magazine, disclosing that he was diagnosed three years ago.
The 80-year-old actor also explained that he has not fully accepted the diagnosis, stating that he has moments he can never forget.
“I’m still not accepting in my mind all parts of it. There are the moments that you keep remembering that validate the fact that you can remember stuff. And there are moments I’ll never forget,” he stated.
Glover served as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Development Program that focuses on poverty, disease and economic development in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, from 1998 to 2004. It
