Davido opens up on his ‘dream collab’

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido has opened up on what he regarded as his dream collaboration on a rack. Speaking during a live stream interview on Twitch with the host @Theboyfromojo, the artist named global icon Rihanna as his dream international collaborator.

Davido acknowledged his admiration for Rihana, noting that a collaboration between them would make “dope music”. He however, expressed uncertainty about the collaboration happening anytime soon. He noted that Rihanna is highly focused on her massively successful Fenty beauty and fashion businesses rather than recording new music.

“Rihanna is my dream collab, but she’s not into music again. She makes billions from her makeup business now,” the singer said.

Rihanna has been very vocal about her appreciation for Davido’s catalog. She once declared Davido’s hit track “Unavailable” (featuring Musa Keys) as her favorite song, having it on repeat.
