Mohammad is reported to have agreed on a two-year contract with the Pride of Rivers.
He was in the books of Kano Pillars last season.
Mohammad has a record of featuring in the CAF competition with El-Kanemi Warriors.
He won the 2024 President Federation Cup with El-Kanemi Warriors.
Rivers United are strengthening their squad early as they prepare for both domestic and continental engagements next season.
