France captain, Kylian Mbappe, has fired a strong warning to his teammates ahead of their World Cup semi-final fixture against Spain on Tuesday.
Mbappe warned the Les Bleus not to let their guard down until they win the World Cup this year.
According to him, Didier Deschamps’ side still have a lot to prove to be recognized as invincible.
France finished runner-up in the last edition of the World Cup in Qatar four years ago after losing to champions Argentina in the final.
“I don’t know if I’d call it a ‘mission’, but we all know we can only relax if we win it. We can’t let our guard down until then,” Mbappe said via FIFA’s website.
“We still have a lot to prove if we want to be recognised as an ‘invincible team’.”
