2027: RHGN Launches South-East Campaign, Urges Voter Participation

The Renewed Hope for Greater Nigeria (RHGN), a support group for President Bola Tinubu, has launched a shop-to-shop campaign at the Ariaria International Market in Aba, Abia State, as part of its mobilisation activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The group’s Deputy National Leader, Mazi Franklin Ngoforo, flagged off the campaign while inaugurating members of the market wing of the organisation.

Ngoforo urged traders to participate actively in the 2027 elections, saying government policies affect citizens regardless of their occupation.

He charged members of the newly inaugurated team to engage traders across the market and encourage them to take part in the electoral process.

According to him, the campaign is intended to explain the group’s position on the Federal Government’s economic policies and why it believes the reforms have benefited traders and importers.

Ngoforo claimed that the unification of the foreign exchange market had reduced opportunities for currency arbitrage and improved access to foreign exchange for genuine traders and importers.

He also argued that increased federal allocations to states following the Federal Government’s economic reforms had contributed to infrastructure development in Abia State.

The RHGN official appealed to traders to support President Tinubu in the 2027 general election.

Speaking at the event, the Coordinator of the Ariaria Market Wing of RHGN, Chief Clifford Igbokwe, pledged that members of the group would carry out the assignment given to them.

Meanwhile, the group also inaugurated its Booth Army, Campus Wing and Pentecostal Clerics Support Chapters in the South-East as part of its mobilisation activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.
