BREAKING: All Kidnapped Oyo Pupils, Teachers Rescued — Presidency

The Presidency has announced the rescue of all the pupils and teachers who were kidnapped in Orire Local Government Area of Oyo State, attributing the successful operation to the efforts of Nigeria’s security agencies.

Presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga disclosed the development in a post on his verified X handle on Friday, describing the rescue as a major breakthrough in the fight against insecurity.

According to Onanuga, all the victims have regained their freedom following sustained operations by security agencies.

“Finally, all the kidnapped pupils and teachers in Orire, Oyo have been rescued by our security agencies,” he wrote.
